Review:This is my second novel by Lisa Unger and she did not disappoint. While there is a little confusion in the beginning – it seems like two unconnected stories are taking place – it all comes together soon enough. Once the first connection is made, the present mystery begins to unravel a little at a time, until they all find themselves facing the past in a house that seems to invite tragedy.

While it is a mystery, and a crafty one at that, it’s also an exploration on family relationships, how much genetic connection matters, and how little we actually know about the people we love.

Lisa Unger is now firmly on my must read list.

    • Thanks! It was a bit of a mini-review, I’m afraid. But I really do love her books. It’s great when you find an author who is consistent. And I agree about how the storylines came together! It took me awhile to see where things were headed.
