Slowly but surely getting through The Heir – which I’m really enjoying! – and can’t stop thinking about picking up something darker/eerie/mysterious when I’m done. On hand, I have the following possible contenders:
- Still Life by Louise Penny
- In the Woods by Tana French
- Wicked Autumn by G.M. Malliet
- The Ice Twins by S.K. Tremayne
- Mongrels by Stephen Graham Jones
- The Widow by Fiona Barton
- Asylum by Madeleine Roux
Or I can go see what Stephen King books are available. Or maybe Nick Cutter, since I’ve heard he’s quite horrific (in the all the right ways).
